THE DETAILS

Common questions.

What the initial service is—and what it is not.

Does the assessment require root credentials?

No. Access will be appropriately authorized, restricted and time-limited. Exact permissions depend on agreed scope; root credentials are not the default.

Do you make production changes?

Not in the baseline assessment. It is primarily read-only; remediation requires separate authorization and scope.

Is this penetration testing or a certified audit?

No. The service is a selected configuration and control review, not an intrusive penetration test, formal audit or certification.

Can you assess multiple accounts?

Potentially, under a separately agreed scope and quote. The pilot package covers one account.

When will the work begin?

After a discovery call and, if both sides agree to proceed, execution of appropriate contractual, insurance, authorization and access arrangements.

THE NEXT STEP

Have a security issue that doesn’t fit a package?

A short discovery conversation can determine whether BrootTech is the right technical fit.
